Onam 2026 Celebrations at Maathra – Kochi

Maathra marked Onam 2026 with a vibrant celebration in Kochi, bringing the team together to enjoy one of Kerala’s most cherished festivals.

The celebrations began with the team creating a traditional pookalam, adding colour to the office one petal at a time. Everyone joined in dressed for the occasion in kasavu, mundu and traditional attire, giving the workplace a distinctly festive atmosphere.

The day continued with Onam games, plenty of cheering and laughter, offering everyone an opportunity to step away from their usual work routines and simply enjoy being together. The celebrations were completed with an Onam sadhya served on banana leaves, bringing the entire team around one table.

Beyond the festivities, occasions like Onam give us an opportunity to connect outside projects, meetings and deadlines. They are part of the culture we continue to build at Maathra—one where shared experiences, relationships and a sense of belonging matter alongside the work we do.
